Cataracts

The most common cause of treatable vision loss in the United Kingdom, cataracts are largely age-related and are caused by the clear lens inside the eye becoming cloudy or misty. The early stages of a cataract do not necessarily affect your sight and so do not necessarily need removal. In the later stages, when a cataract starts to affect your quality of life, I can arrange for a visit at the local eye hospital for treatment and removal.
