Glaucoma

Glaucoma is an eye disease in which the optic nerve, which transmits the eye signals to the brain, is damaged by the pressure inside the eye. Whilst usually very slow, the damage is symptomless and irreversible so regular eye tests are vital to ensure it is detected and dealt with early.
